This past weekend, my bml, or beautiful male lover, soon to be husband and I were at The Palms in Wonder Valley for the Wonder Valley Music Festival. We also got a chance to see the rare mariposa lily and witches hair (Cuscuta californica) a lovely firey orange parasite, in Joshua Tree National Park.

Crows and Oranges
Today I saw a crow fly by our house with an orange in it’s bill. Looked rather odd. It then landed on the telephone poll with its orange.
Kaua’i
Just came back from a ten day trip to Kaua’i. Lizards, orchids on the Napali Coast. Common Mynahs and Wild Hydrangeas…and tropical deserted cabins.
Epiphytes
My neighbors here have beautiful epiphytes growing and blooming over the fence… lucky me… lucky us… Not only do they smell incredible and look incredible, they don’t photograph too poorly eiher. Thanks Sheridan!! for planting the beautiful garden. Curious about epiphytes? < click that.

Just getting the network hooked up. Moving caN BE stressful… we have been going NONstop…painting…planting…unboxing. First glaze firing out of the kiln

Imagined Backyard
I planted some new flowers in photoShop and added a Buddha to the stone pathway. So here I can imagine what the new backyard will soon look like as it is weeds at present. A great tool for planning a landscape.
