This is an image of mine that never went to press. I have printed it as a 30×30 canvas and also on archival 12×12 matte photo paper. I just ordered some of these postcards myself thru zazzle. I was very impressed with the quality and feel of the cards.

Santa Barbara Acorn Woodpecker
Yesterday from Valerio and Calle Poniente was a Jackaranda tree full of woodpeckers. I caught this one eating an insect.

Was a good day photographing birds just over the cliffs at Wilcox or better known Douglas Family Preserve. Redtail Hawk, Pelican and Woodpecker.
Walk above the Pacific coast of Santa Barbara yesterday.
A raven takes off from a branch with a magenta/orange flag, there to alert hang gliders above the ocean at Douglas Family Preserve. Auspicious. Also a common House Finch.

Crows and Oranges
Today I saw a crow fly by our house with an orange in it’s bill. Looked rather odd. It then landed on the telephone poll with its orange.
