Then there was the impaled finch we noticed on the cactus.

Quite startling to be sitting in the living room in wonder valley and see a bird impaled on a cactus.I don’t find the image gruesome as there is some perfect sense of balance in how it was temporarily froZen in time with feathers splayed ever so.
