Beautiful male lover takes a swim.

Sometimes we shorten it to BML. But really there is nothing like exclaiming to your partner, “Beautiful Male Lover, let’s …make lunch” or whatever. I have found this term of endearment to be quite dear indeed… and so for a year and half I have been BML as well as having a BML. …anyway try…

Gopher Snake

This is a dead gopher snake found on Hwy 62 in Wonder Valley, CA. It was already in this shape. Took it home in the back of the truck and layed it on the tiled table for it’s farewell photoshoot. Printed 30×30 canvas prints also a run of postcards, and some 12×12 matte prints.

Scorpion

Desert wildlife served up on a tile. Scorpions don’t hold much of a threat. They just look a bit intimidating. This photo was taken in 2003 in Wonder Valley. I did a run of postcards of this image as well as 12×12 archival prints. All images are available by contacting magentaRaven.

Vera in Wonder Valley

desert iguana

Incredible desert iguana can withstand the hottest day and have been seen basking in 125 degrees. I have not seen my usual numbers this year. This is a photo from a few years back when I had the pleasure of tossing blossoms from the desert willow onto the sand for their eating pleasure.
