Desert Spring

There is no way to describe the diversity and expanse of wildlife and flora in this particular Spring. Back from another whirlwind desert trip. Photographing wildlife and flora. The shrub in the previous post has been identified as Ratany. New Pottery

I have been experimenting with some new glazes and some trying black clay. Using the clear glaze on the black clay revealed a metallic speckled golden sheen with many colors. I have completed several Rattles, Buddha Tiles,  and a SeaHorse… will be posting  more pictures soon. Quite pleased with the new chalky blue underglaZe ……

2010… a new yea®

The first SEVENTEEN days of 2010 were spent in the desert, in wOnder valley smashing & breaking tiles and continuing work on the living room at the eL paseo residence. Lenore came out for a few days to help and earned the title of Butter Queen as she steadƒastly applied the mastic to the tiles…
